You're Not A Fraud

Hello, my friends!

Has it been weeks or even months since you last wrote anything? Are you facing creative burnout and questioning whether you're a writer or just a fraud?

Well, it's time for some real talk...

YOU ARE A WRITER!

It doesn't matter if it's been days, weeks, months, or even years since you've touched your keyboard or notebook! You're a writer because you have ideas, worlds, and a creative mind that sees more in the world than society! You are a writer because you dare to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard, modernly speaking) to add something to this world!

Our Lord has given you this talent to nurture and to use! As a Catholic, I know that this gift must be used to His greater glory.

Every single person faces self-doubt or 'imposter syndrome.' This is not specific to writers, painters, musicians, photographers, or businessmen; the list is endless.

This post is concise and to the point, as we all need encouragement in the new year.

You ARE a writer.

If you don't have anyone to affirm you, let me!

Don't listen to that insignificant voice of self-doubt in your head because it is NOT TRUE.
