No Time To Write?

Hello, my friends, I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful autumn weather!
Do you ever feel like your schedule is too demanding and that you have too much on your plate? Family obligations, Church, Work, School, Social life, writing, etc! The list just goes on and on! At the end of the day, writing is often the last thing on our minds and often the thing we let slip because it doesn't seem that important.
However, what if I told you that no matter how busy your schedule is, there is always time to write?
Now, this will vary depending on your life and the amount of things on your plate, and writing CAN NOT always be the top priority on your list! A lot depends on your state of life, and writing should NEVER come at the cost of your spiritual life and relationship with our Lord!
That all being said, here is my top tip for writing every day!
Take a minute and look at your schedule... What do you see? Event after event, right?
Well...
Do you see any gaps in time?
Maybe it's just fifteen minutes, but that's all you need when you think about it!
If you set a timer right now and...
just
write
Don't edit... Don't judge it.
Just write!
You'd be surprised at how many words you can crank out!
However, don't put so much pressure on yourself that you spend those ten to fifteen minutes racking your brain for ideas! Just have fun! Even if you just get to read over what you've already written or do some brainstorming, it keeps those creative muscles in your brain working, and it is using that time wisely!
Ask yourself, how did you typically spend those ten to fifteen minutes? Doom-scrolling on your phone?
Hmmm...
Which do you find more productive? Which of the two do you walk away from feeling like you accomplished something?
My guess is the latter.
This is such a small thing you can do, but it is beyond effective!
That's all I have for today, dear readers! Thank you so much for your support of this blog!
